Since time immemorial, people have held beliefs, perceptions, convictions and outlooks on life. In the early stages of human development, our understanding of the world was formed based on experience gained in the environment. Initially, people believed in the extraordinary power of nature and associated natural phenomena with deities. Thus, since ancient times, people have worshipped the sun for its warmth and radiance, water for its life-giving properties, fire for its transformative power, the wind for its freshness and purity, and the earth for its fertility and nourishment. For people of that time, faith and conviction were often based on fear. They often encountered the consequences of droughts, fires, floods and other natural disasters, but lacked a deep understanding of the structure of the world and the phenomena of life. Therefore, they could only explain these events as the result of the anger of the gods. This is how the first rudiments of faith were formed. Modern humankind has evolved much further. So what determines the power of faith and conviction of today's people and society?
Perhaps it would be appropriate to consider the integral components of this concept. Faith and conviction express an inner impulse, understanding and knowledge. Initially, observations of the mighty power of fire in ancient times formed the understanding that fire can burn. It can also heat the dwelling. This is how primary knowledge and perceptions of the world emerged. As people began to believe in the deities of nature, they started to worship them in basic ways. They prayed to these deities for mercy and favour, showing that they believed in a power greater than themselves. People created rites, rituals and ceremonies in an attempt to pacify and appease the elements of nature, which seemed to be deities of incredible power. Today, people still try to understand and explain the world around them. These attempts to understand the world have led to the development of branches of science, history, philosophy and religion. Human faith and conviction have come to be based on the solid foundations laid by thinkers and figures throughout humanity's development. Nowadays, an inexhaustible amount of information is available to everyone. The thoughts and experiences of humankind are reflected in scientific research and works. But what is the meaning of faith and conviction? Is the true power of faith and conviction born from books, the works of geniuses and scientists, and films? Or is it something more than information and knowledge that helps us to develop and expand our awareness?
Here, the importance lies in the quality and truthfulness of the knowledge and information that a person acquires. The expression 'blind faith' did not appear without reason. Concepts, notions and names originate from observations of the world. These can form the basis of beliefs, which are perceived by the mind but do not resonate with the soul. So how can we determine the validity of ubiquitous information? Where can we find this 'lie detector'? It lies within each individual. It is also the source of true faith and conviction. A developed person is a spiritual person; in other words, a person who has developed energetically. Such a person is distinguished by wisdom and an expanded consciousness; they subtly feel the surrounding and inner worlds. Spiritually developed people can discern the false from the true with the help of their expanded consciousness, which connects them to cosmic consciousness. This goes far beyond the information that abounds on the internet. Such a person lives in unity with the creator of the entire universe; therefore, the power of their faith and conviction is based on truth. How you form a connection with the source of all knowledge. It is inseparable and has always existed. Humanity evolves through stages, gradually discovering the knowledge laid down by the Creator. This true knowledge concerns the nature, origin, history, development and formation of humanity, as well as its main goal and purpose. This true knowledge is the source of faith and conviction: I believe because I know. This knowledge within me is alive, true and eternal. When applied through experience, true knowledge produces results that speak for themselves. Life unfolds in new colours. One experiences a profound surge of inner power, resilience, and an elevated sense of confidence in oneself. Problems are solved and relationships with family members and others become harmonious. Knowledge helps us to solve difficult problems and to help ourselves and others.
Just as true knowledge is a living presence, so is true faith. Knowing oneself reflects the level of one's understanding, knowledge and consciousness, and is the key to knowing life. Another state then manifests: conviction. When a person sees and receives positive results, they can feel life as a flow of change and transformation. This is no longer resisted because they know how to interact with life. Life is no longer perceived as a series of problems, but as an endless journey of development and growth. Faith and conviction grow stronger as the inner core becomes unshakable. This creative inner strength rekindles the confidence that 'you can do anything'. The power of faith and conviction of a spiritually evolved person is free from fanatical attachment, dogma and unfounded ideas. It is based on true knowledge of cosmic science and the laws and processes that create life in eternity. This knowledge has the power to create the kind of life one originally aspires to on the path of evolution.
